Kevin McMenimen Joins IntelFusion Partners as Advisory Board Member and Expert in Training, Awareness, and Learning Design
IntelFusion Partners (IFP) has announced the appointment of Kevin McMenimen, president of Learn it Media, to its Advisory Board, where he will also serve as the organization’s expert in training, awareness, and learning design.
IntelFusion Partners is dedicated to empowering security leaders who confront the intricate challenges of crime and loss. From risk profiling and litigation support to fraud and scams prevention and cybersecurity and AI governance, these are just some of the pressing security challenges that the team assists their clients with. McMenimen’s appointment reinforces IFP’s mission to strengthen cross-industry preparedness through innovation in education, analytics, and intelligence sharing.
With more than 35 years of experience spanning learning design, investigations, workplace safety, technology, and media, McMenimen has built a career at the intersection of education, data innovation, and strategic communication. As president of Learn it Media, a division of SEMM Holdings LLC, he currently leads the development of training and awareness programs that help global organizations inform, engage, and protect their teams through impactful learning and communication.
A recognized leader in education architecture and digital learning design, McMenimen has authored and produced over 150 e-learning courses and certification programs for national retailers, global enterprises, and law enforcement agencies. His work merges instructional design with analytics and behavioral insight to optimize workforce engagement and elevate operational readiness.
Beyond training, McMenimen brings deep experience in both retail and financial sector intelligence and crime data systems. As the designer of the American Bankers Association’s national data-sharing and intelligence platform for bank crime, he partnered with IntelFusion Partners Founder Basia Pietrawska to advance real-time collaboration among financial institutions, law enforcement, and security leaders across the US. His contributions in crime analytics, case management technology, and inter-agency coordination continue to influence how the banking and retail sectors respond to organized crime and emerging threats.
“Kevin’s ability to connect data, education, and operational excellence makes him an invaluable addition to our Advisory Board,” said Basia Pietrawska, founder and president, IntelFusion Partners. “His leadership in a variety of industry-wide initiatives and his roles within the learning and intelligence communities will help shape how we equip organizations to anticipate and mitigate complex risks. Having collaborated with Kevin on industry projects in the past, I’m excited to bring his expertise into the team and confident that he will play a key role in taking our services to the next level.”
“Adding Kevin to our Advisory Board is a tremendous accomplishment for our organization, said Aaron Hancart, CFI, EPS, executive director of consulting for IntelFusion Parteners. “His knowledge, expertise, and ability to lead organizations, departments, and people is a phenomenal asset for us. He’s clearly demonstrated how to connect with people and impart knowledge that’s both wanted and needed, which is something that strategically aligns with our goals.”
“I’m honored to join IntelFusion Partners and contribute to its mission of bridging intelligence, education, and technology,” said McMenimen. “The challenges facing retail and financial organizations today require not just information but understanding—and that begins with effective, actionable training that is aligned with evolving policy, regulations, and best practices.”
McMenimen is also the co-founder of the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) and the original architect of its Loss Prevention – Qualified (LPQ) and Loss Prevention – Certified (LPC) programs, recognized as the benchmark in professional certification for the retail loss prevention and asset protection industry. In 2019, he founded the LP Hall Awards to celebrate achievement, excellence, leadership, and collaboration across loss prevention, safety, and law enforcement.
